An Introduction of Sorts
For our 25+1th anniversary, the family went on a 3-week trip to New Zealand. (I mean, you know—when you have to spend that many hours on a transpacific flight, it’s a shame to spend less than three weeks at your destination. IMHO. If at all possible. YMMV. Etc. Like that….)
Since I’d recently been gifted with an iPod Touch, I took some snapshots with it and emailed them back to the folks in the fabulous group I work with. Sorta like picture postcards … only electronic. Even though they were taken with an iPod, I think they’re interesting and of reasonable quality. However, I didn’t fully understand the “small/medium/large/original” choices I was offered when sending them in email from the iPod, so the images my friends received were smaller than I’d’ve liked. I am therefore taking this opportunity to share those snapshots again, this time on the web and in the form of larger images. And—perhaps obviously—I’m inviting other folks to see them as well.
So here they are.
I will mention that while I took over ten thousand images with my real camera (12,304 of them, to be exact…), they’re going to take me a while to digest and sort and look through to find the handful of really good images among them. Once I do, I’ll also post at least some of them somewhere on the web. I’ll try to let you know when that happens.
P.S. In the fullness of time, I will be posting more of the snapshots I took in New Zealand … as well as some of the real photos.
Email me if you want to be notified when they are posted.
NOTE: It will take a few moments to download—the images are BIG.
